Description Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Demand Planner to join our Global team, based in Bucharest.You will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and support business objectives. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align demand plans with market trends and company strategy.

Scope of the Role

  • Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence.
  • Analyse historical data, promotional plans, and market trends to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to incorporate business insights into demand planning.
  • Monitor forecast performance and implement corrective actions to minimize BIAS and error.
  • Support S&OE/IBP processes by providing timely and accurate demand inputs.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in demand and communicate proactively to stakeholders.
  • Work with Supply Planning to ensure alignment between demand and supply plans.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for management review.
                        
                    
                            

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with planning tools (SAP, SAP IBP, or similar) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English language.    
  • Experience in FMCG or similar Consumer industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of S&OE/IBP processe preferred.
