Description Overview
As the Senior Brand Manager OTC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing the brand’s presence in the market. You will act as the voice of the consumer, ensuring that insights translate into impactful brand strategies while taking ownership of the brand P&L.
You will lead the development and execution of the local marketing strategy and support best‑in‑class in‑market execution. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of local market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscape.
Scope of the Role
1. Deliver Business Goals & Implement the Brand Marketing Strategy
- Contribute to annual, quarterly, and monthly business planning cycles.
- Support the delivery of brand performance targets and strategic priorities.
2. Develop Best‑in‑Class In‑Market Activation Plans
- Support NPD launches by leveraging central success models and adapting them to local requirements in partnership with Regulatory, CS&E, and the Market Lead.
- Build omnichannel activation plans aligned with business goals and global guidelines, working closely with Customer Strategy & Execution, Category Leads, and the local media agency.
3. Build and Evolve the Local Brand Success Model
- Track campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize plans for continuous improvement.
- Share local learnings with central teams and apply global best practices.
- Drive a test‑and‑learn mindset with clear KPIs and timelines to scale successful initiatives.
- Support monthly IMEX meetings by presenting category plans and identifying support needed to win in market.
4. Support Category Market Analysis & Performance Tracking
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer feedback.
- Conduct competitive analysis to guide marketing strategies.
- Manage the brand budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Use analytics to make data‑driven recommendations for future campaigns and activities.
- Collaborate with central teams to share performance updates and competitive insightsConsumer & Marketing Understanding A strong consumer‑centric mindset with experience in activation planning and collaboration with central teams.

Experience Required

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Brand Management within CPG or Consumer Health.

Proven experience managing analytically demanding initiatives.

Demonstrated success working in cross‑functional teams.

Strong preference for experience across both Marketing and Sales.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Experience developing and implementing effective strategies, processes, and controls, including trade fund management and planning processes such as S&OP and Stage Gate.

Expertise in improving forecast models, segmentation frameworks, sales incentives, pricing strategies, and reporting tools to support channel strategy execution.
- Must be fluent in English and Romanian. Knowledge of an additional Eastern European language is an advantage.
