Description Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of warehouse and material management operations across assigned facilities. This role oversees daily warehouse activities, supports inventory planning and control, manages Powered Industrial Equipment programs, and partners with cross-functional teams to meet operations goals and objectives.

Scope of the Role

Safety, Quality, and Compliance

· Full accountability for associate safety, including proactive hazard identification and corrective actions.

· Ensure compliance with cGMPs, FDA requirements, food safety, security, and quality standards.

· Lead and support internal and external audits, including cycle counts and inventory accuracy reviews.

· Ensure safe operation, training, and compliance for all Powered Industrial Equipment.

Warehouse and Inventory Operations

· Oversee associates working across two (2) warehouse facilities, including off-site locations.

· Assign work, adjust workloads, and prioritize activities to meet production schedules and warehouse needs.

· Manage shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate material flow.

· Maintain accurate inventory control through effective cycle counting and reconciliation processes.

· Ensure warehouse organization, material storage standards, and space utilization are optimized.

Planning, Systems, and Financial Management

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of forecast planning for raw materials, batch scheduling, and inventory control.

· Utilize SAP and SAP-Ariba systems for purchasing warehouse and operations supplies.

· Participate in warehouse budget planning and provide recommendations to leadership to control and reduce costs.

· Manage supply budgets and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.

· Oversee equipment leases, capital requests, and preventative maintenance contracts.

People Leadership and Development

· Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action as needed.

· Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

· Create cross-functional team members within the Warehouse operations.

· Use leadership and critical thinking skills to resolve operational issues and support team success.

Continuous Improvement

· Identify and eliminate waste through continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies.

· Support initiatives focused on safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost reduction.

· Partner with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and material flow.

Experience Required

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, a minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience required.

· Minimum of two (2) years of experience in warehouse operations, including inventory control, cycle counting, and purchasing

· Previous experience working in an FDA-regulated or cGMP environment preferred.

· Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills.

· Proven ability to provide work direction across multiple facilities.

· Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience with SAP and warehouse management systems preferred.

· Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and well-developed safety programs preferred.
