Description Overview

 

This position reports directly to the Senior Counsel, Enterprise Contract Management and Risk and will provide strategic legal support for Perrigo’s global enterprise contracting operations, focusing on procurement and sales contracting and cross-functional business partnership.

 

We are looking for a detail oriented, commercially minded lawyer with exceptional interpersonal skills to drive successful legal outcomes while building strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.

 

The position offers broad exposure to a wide variety of contracts and contract processes, vendor and customer negotiations, and strategic business initiatives in a global, collaborative environment.

Scope of the Role

 

  • Support procurement and sales transactions by drafting, negotiating, and closing a wide range of global agreements, including customer, vendor, and procurement contracts, while managing renewals and contract lifecycle tools, and making effective use of AI redlining tools.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to provide strategic and commercially minded legal guidance on transaction structure, risk, and negotiations.
  • Evaluate, draft, and negotiate non-standard agreements, applying sound judgment and creative solutions aligned with Perrigo’s policies and risk appetite.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across Sales, Procurement, Finance, Information Security, and Data Protection teams
  • Implement and manage contract templates, playbooks, and best practices
  • Manage multiple priorities and workstreams effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational and project management skills
  • Support a variety of business initiatives as needed, including Supply Chain, Innovation, and Technology initiatives.

 

Experience Required

 

  • 2-4 years of experience in enterprise contracting, preferably with drug or healthcare companies or equivalent experience in a law firm
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements including vendor contracts, customer agreements, and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience using and managing contract playbooks and clause libraries.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to use and adapt to technology solutions.
  • Strong ability to evaluate legal and commercial risks while providing practical, business-focused advice.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
