Position Title: Packaging Team Lead

Location: Georgia, Vermont

Shift Details: 6am-6pm ET on a repeating 2-2-3 schedule that may require holiday work when applicable. (Week A: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat; Week B: Sun, Weds, Thurs)

Expected Pay: Minimum starting pay of $25.88/hour with the potential for increased starting pay based on experience and qualifications

2027 Plant Closure Disclaimer 

In March of 2025, Perrigo announced that the Georgia, VT facility will close with an estimated date of July 2027. However, we want to make the remaining work experience with us as compelling as possible!
 
Perrigo is committed to offering a highly competitive severance package for employees who see this project through to completion. At the time of the plant closure, if your tenure length is at least 12 months, you would be entitled to 52 weeks (one year’s worth) of base pay, bonus, and company-paid COBRA coverage for up to 1-year following your exit. For employees with less than 12 months’ tenure at the time of plant closure, they will receive 36 weeks (9 months) of base pay, bonus, and COBRA coverage. These severance offerings would be consistent with the terms of the Perrigo Company plc Severance Policy for U.S. Employees. From a new employee’s start date with Perrigo through their role completion, employment with Perrigo will remain as full-time, regular, benefits-eligible, and at-will employment classification. 

Scope of the Role

As a Packaging Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, product quality, and team success within our manufacturing environment. This position provides leadership and hands-on support to packaging operations while championing continuous improvement, safety, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (i.e. Quality, Maintenance, etc.) to optimize performance, resolve challenges, and ensure packaging runs efficiently.

• Lead and support packaging operations while promoting a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members to support development and operational success.
• Perform and verify quality inspections as outlined in SOPs and WIs.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Perform equipment setup, line changeovers, and adjustments to optimize equipment performance.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, equipment performance, and workplace safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attendance record and demonstrated reliability.
• Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems, multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and using workplace tools/equipment.
• Ability to drive employee engagement, motivate others, and support change initiatives
