Description Overview

As Key Account Manager Drugstores / Pharmacies, you will be responsible for negotiating and building partnership with Retail customers. You will strive to grow different categories to grow the customer's business, in line with Perrigo strategy and objectives. 

 

Scope of the Role

You are responsible for translating the commercial strategy and marketing plans into a strong commercial plan for different Retail customers such as Kruidvat & Medi-market You ensure proper implementation and follow-up.

  • You prepare the annual negotiations and conduct discussions with the various customers within your customer portfolio.
  • As Key Account Manager you work out a partnership and think along with the customer about his business:
    • How can you grow categories?
    • What opportunities are there to realize growth?
  • You are responsible for drawing up and managing the customer budget.
  • You get to know the market thoroughly and quickly and stay up to date on market trends and competitive developments and ensure appropriate response strategies.
  • You are part of the Commercial department and work closely with colleagues from various departments including Trade Marketing, Supply, ... .

Experience Required

  • As Key Account Manager, you have a Master's degree complemented by experience in a KAM function.
  • A first experience with Food Retail customers and or knowledge of the pharmaceutical/OTC market is not a must have, but a plus.
  • You see opportunities and know how to translate them into solutions for your customers.
  • You have a win-win mentality and build long-term relationships.
  • You enjoy managing different projects and can work independently.
  • You are a real team player who puts customer focus first.
  • You are communicatively strong both in Dutch, French and English.
