Description Overview
The Associate Marketing Manager, North America Oral Care is a critical execution role, with primary responsibility for in‑year activation across U.S. Oral Care brands and store brands within a priority segment(s).
The role serves as one of the connective tissues between global Oral Care innovation strategy including Brands, customer‑specific Store Brand needs, and disciplined in‑market execution, ensuring that Oral Care innovation pipelines translate into timely launches, incremental sales, and sustainable category growth, while Oral Care activation delivers results in the North America cluster.
We are looking for someone who is able to work hybrid, 3 days a week in office, from our Kentwood, MI facility.
Scope of the Role
1 North America implementation of Global Category Strategy & Growth Agenda
- Support the implementation of the Global Oral Care Category Strategy, in the cluster and segment responsible for, spanning base business growth, innovation and portfolio expansion and cost and operational efficiency.
- Support the analysis on where‑to‑play / how‑to‑win choices and expansion opportunities by segment, channel, geography, and (store) brand.
- Support the translation of category strategy into clear multi‑year roadmaps and execution plans.
2. U.S. In‑Year Activation & Innovation Delivery – Oral Care
- Lead in‑year activation of U.S. Oral Care store brand / brand plans for the segments responsible for, ensuring delivery of innovation, renovation, and customer‑specific launches committed in ABP.
- Partner closely with Sales, CS&E, and Supply Chain to deliver on time, in full customer execution.
- Actively manage risks, trade‑offs, and sequencing decisions to protect near‑term results while enabling longer‑term growth.
- Ensure innovation resources are focused on the highest value opportunities aligned to segment strategy within the category.
- Enable decisive action on urgent customer-specific new item launches within segment.
3. Demand Generation Analytics & Performance Measurement
- Develop and maintain demand generation dashboards, scorecards, and reports that are easy to understand, and actionable.
- Share regular performance updates with sales, customers, and Perrigo leadership.
- Translate performance data into clear insights and recommendations for marketing and category teams.
- Ensure consistent measurement definitions and analytical rigor across demand generation initiatives.
- Support leadership reporting for in‑year performance reviews and planning discussions.
4. North America Oral Care Analytical Support (Secondary)
- Provide analytical support to North America Oral Care category team, including innovation tracking, and competitive analysis.
- Support syndication of category insights, volume and value tracking, and performance diagnostics.
- Assist with preparation of global category roundtables.
Experience Required
- Typically these skills are obtained with a Bachelor’s degree and 4 years work experience
- Consumer & Customer First Orientation – developing understanding of shopper, customer, and channel dynamics
- Commercial & Financial Acumen – developing P&L knowledge and ownership with a value creation mindset
- Brand Building & Store Brand Expertise – developing expertise in both national brand and private label models
- Strong Analytical Skillset – comfortable working with large datasets, performance metrics, and dashboards
- Demand Generation Acumen – understanding of how media, creative, and activation drive performance
- Execution Discipline – ability to support multiple initiatives simultaneously with accuracy and pace
- Timeline Management – deep understanding of the drivers that underpin timeliness of critical demand generation initiatives
- Stakeholder Collaboration – effective partner to marketing, category, and cross‑functional teams
- Attention to Detail – high standards for data quality, consistency, and reliability
