Description Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Analyst to join our Perrigo Marketing Team in Grand Rapids, MI. It is expected this individual be able to work from our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters three days per week.

 

This role has the following objectives:

  1. Maintain Perrigo’s Oral Electrolytes Solutions Store Brand business (Store Brand Pedialyte).
  2. Streamline cross-category data analysis and support. Build the data architecture and cadence for regular reports on all Store Brand categories.

Scope of the Role

  • Category ownership: This role is the hub of all commercial activity within the OES category. In-depth familiarity with the consumer, category and competitive dynamics is critical.
  • New product launches: Own new product development, stage gate presentations, and commercial launch plans for National Brand equivalent products.
  • Distribution and demand growth: Grow distribution and demand through tactical promotion plans.
  • Performance tracking for all categories: Supports marketing category teams by analyzing current and historical category performance, competitive landscape, consumer trends, promotional activities, and new product launches. Presents analysis and recommendations to management for approval while working under general supervision.  Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Stay current on National Brand product changes: Ensure that Perrigo Store Brand products maintain equivalence with National Brand items.
  • Marketing operations management: Assist in execution of form filing and submission for stage gate process.

Experience Required

  • Typically these skills are obtained with a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field along with 1-2 years’ relevant marketing experience
  • Strong analytical skills and business sense in sophisticated data environment. Must be comfortable mining and analyzing data, then developing clear and actionable insights
  • Good understanding of marketing principles and a natural curiosity and passion for understanding the needs of consumers and customers
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines
  • Self-motivated and exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit
  • High levels of interpersonal skills, specifically in the area of influencing without direct authority, resolving conflict, creative problem solving and decision making

Preferred qualifications:

  • OTC and/or pharmaceutical industry experience
  • CPG industry experience
