Description Overview

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst– Procurement provides in-depth creative problem solving across Procurement Operations and various departments to develop solutions, identify trends, and uncover insights that enable us to service our customers at the highest level. This individual will be a key contributor to Perrigo’s supply chain using various tools to analyze data, work cross-functionally, and deliver positive outcomes.

This is a hyrbid opportunity working 3 days onsite at either our Grand Rapids or Allegan offices and 2 days remote.

Scope of the Role

General Data Analytics

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Interface with supply chain partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement practices and improve service
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Trade Compliance

  • Analyze tariff changes & activities to determine/report impact to the business including monthly variance tracking and reporting
  • Audit Customs entries to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, FDA, and other relevant regulations
  • Maintain processes to meet U.S. Customs' five components of effective internal controls:
    • Control environment, Risk assessment, Internal control activities, Information & communication, and Monitoring

Experience Required

  • Experience - 3-5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, demand planning, consulting or related field is required.
  • Education - A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related field highly preferred
  • Technical Skills - Excel, business intelligence, and/or “Big Data” skills required and SAP experience highly preferred
  • Results Driven - Demonstrates ability to effectively operate in cross-functional teams and lead projects to completion
  • Exceptional Communicator - Persuasive written and oral communication skills with the capability to support controversial positions, manage sensitive and confidential issues, and communicate audience specific information to various levels of the organization.
  • Problem Solver - improves processes, foster innovation, and deliver results on projects/tasks despite incomplete or ambiguous information.
  • Analytic Reasoning - has a high degree of skill working with calculations and numbers with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Phenomenal Teammate - invested in the collective success of the team and project outcomes.
  • Credentials - APICS CPIM, Customs Broker License, or other supply chain professional certifications is a plus
