Description Overview
As a Demand Planner, you will manage part of the Benelux brand portfolio and play a key role in the IBP process. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Supply, and the central IBP team to ensure accurate demand planning and strong cross‑functional alignment. Working conditions include to work from home 2 days.
Scope of the Role
- Build SKU‑level forecasts per customer group based on sales trends, market data, statistical inputs, assortment changes, distribution levels, and promotional plans.
- Lead recurring IBP meetings with key stakeholders.
- Present the monthly consensus forecast to the Benelux management team.
- Develop scenario forecasts for complex products or situations.
- Improve forecast accuracy and reduce out‑of‑stock and obsolescence risks.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3–5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain, ideally in FMCG or pharma.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large datasets.
- Solid understanding of statistical forecasting; advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with S&OP/IBP processes; SAP IBP is a plus.
- Detail‑oriented, structured, reliable, and adaptable.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch is nice to have.
