Description Overview

Joining Perrigo as a Demand Planner, you will be part of the team leading the forecast review, identifying the main forecast variances as well as drivers with the ultimate objective to enable and facilitate prompt decision making process that impact the demand plan. In this role, you will be entrusted the task of developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external partners (such as supply planning, finance, sales and marketing, and product management) and supply chain planning partners

Scope of the Role

  • Data modelling used to generate stat forecast at different level (sku, brand, etc..);
  • Interact with key commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, etc..) to interpret the potential impact of market trends and demand drivers on demand, adjust the statistical forecast to reflect those impacts and achieve consensus for demand forecasts
  • Evaluate buying patterns of key customers and collaborate with commercial team to assess the impact of promotions and events on demand, using what-if analysis to create scenarios and recommendations;
  • Work closely with channel/customer owners to understand the nuances of each unique sales channel/customer and reconcile significant variances, refine forecasts to reflect updated sales and marketing strategies;
  • Review trends in historical sales, forecast accuracy and forecast bias with the goal of progressive continuous improvement;
  • Document and monitor relevant assumptions that drive changes in demand across diverse stakeholders;
  • Assist development of annual plans and reconcile them with monetized demand plans.
  • Identify discrepancies and provide recommendations to improve demand-planning performance;
  • Demonstrate sound business decision making aligned with company goals

Experience Required

 

  • 5+ years experience in Demand Planning or a related Supply Chain field - preferably from Consumer Self-Care, FMCG industry
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, ERP, SAP IBP
  • Proficiency in financial and business planning;
  • Understanding of supply chain planning and order management processes
  • Communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship-building and persuasion
