Description Overview

Perrigo offers a great opportunity to join our growing Business Services Centre in Mokotów, which has been steadily expanding since its launch in mid‑2024. We are currently looking for an Intern GL Accountant to join our team who will

We currently work in a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Scope of the Role

  • Support day‑to‑day General Ledger accounting activities in line with the accounting manual and internal procedures
  • Assist with journal entry preparation and posting under supervision
  • Support account reconciliations, including basic intercompany reconciliations
  • Participate in month‑end close activities and assist with financial close reporting in CFIN
  • Help ensure accurate cost center and profit center accounting
  • Assist with US GAAP postings and support statutory reporting activities (where not outsourced)
  • Cooperate with other finance teams and stakeholders in a cross‑functional, international environment
  • Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives

Experience Required

  • Student of Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles, with an interest in General Ledger processes
  • First experience in accounting or finance (e.g. internships, student jobs, university projects) is an advantage but not required
  • Interest in developing a career in accounting or shared service environments
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • Good attention to detail, willingness to learn, and proactive attitude
