Description Overview
Exciting opportunity to join our Perrigo Business Services team as a SOX Controller. In this role, you will act as the central point of contact for all SOX-related matters, both for PBS Poland and central HQ. You will be accountable for the documentation, implementation, optimization, and execution of all applicable SOX controls within the PBS Poland scope, ensuring strong governance and compliance.
Working closely with GL Team Leads across different clusters, you will play a key role in driving consistency, control effectiveness, and continuous improvement across the organization.
We currently operate in a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.
Scope of the Role
• Serve as the central point of contact for all SOX-related matters, acting as a liaison between PBS Poland and central HQ, ensuring effective communication and coordination
• Take accountability for the documentation, implementation, optimization, and execution of all relevant SOX controls within the scope of PBS Poland, ensuring compliance with SOX regulations
• Collaborate closely with GL Team Leads responsible for different Clusters, promoting teamwork and alignment in SOX control processes
• Maintain and update SOX-related documentation and processes, ensuring they remain current and effective in meeting compliance requirements.
• Facilitate SOX audits and assessments, coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure successful outcomes and adherence to SOX standards.
Experience Required
- A minimum of 4 years experience in a Shared Services environment in similar role
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
- Practical knowledge doumenting and implementing internal controls (SOX) in a shared services envirobment a must
- Chartered Accountant certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
- SAP Finance experience
- Fluent in English and Polish, additional European languages as an asset
