Description Overview

Perrigo have an exciting new proposition ifor a Senior AP Accountant to join our Business Services team in Mokotów.

We currently offer a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Scope of the Role

  • Perform assigned all types of Accounts Payable activities within the Business Service Centre regardless of complexity
  • Ensure adherence to the closing calendar for period-end P2P close
  • Preparation and review of monthly SOX controls (Ensures completeness and accuracy of monthly SOX control documentation and reviews to maintain compliance standards)
  • Lead of audit requests (Provides timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries, ensuring transparency and compliance)
  • Participates in implementation and maintenance of systems, processes, documentation, projects and programs used in the execution of P2P policies and practices
  • Representation of the team in cross-functional projects (Serves as a liaison between the PTP team and other departments, ensuring alignment and effective communication)
  • Co-creating and implementing process improvements (Collaborates with stakeholders to design and roll out enhancements that improve efficiency, compliance, or customer satisfaction)
  • Conducting trainings and onboarding (Designs and delivers knowledge-sharing sessions, ensuring smooth integration of new team members)

Experience Required

  • Good knowledge of PTP processes and their connections to other areas such as CTC and RTR
  • Very good SAP knowledge (use of SAP functionality independently in PTP area)
  • Knowledge of Finance in general and Accounts Payables  in particular, Understanding concepts such as debits/credits, payment terms, and invoice structure
  • Hands-on experience of Shared Services transition a plus
  • Advanced level of MS Office - especially Excel & Outlook/Teams
  • Nice to have - knowledge of ticket systems
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting 
  • Ability to solve complex problems (Applies critical thinking and creativity to resolve issues that span multiple systems or departments)
  • Ability to conduct analyses and recommend improvements (Uses data-driven approaches to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives)
  • Apply compliance procedures and SLA requirements (Understands internal controls, audit requirements, and service level agreements to ensure process integrity and performance)
  • High level of accountability and initiative (Takes ownership of tasks and proactively seeks opportunities to add value beyond assigned responsibilities)
  • Experience in project work and change implementation (Participates in or leads projects aimed at process optimization, system upgrades, or policy changes, ensuring successful execution and adoption)
  • Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders (Maintains clear and professional communication with other departments (e.g. Sales, Customer Service) and external partners or customers)
  • Role model (Acts as a role model, supports the development of junior colleagues, and fosters a culture of learning and collaboration, work independently)
