Description Overview

The Global Cost and Inventory Consolidation team will oversee the consolidation of costing data across Perrigo to drive consistency in reporting and enhanced management insights. Reporting to the Team's Director, this position will participate and execute critical steps in the final deployment of the global costing solution in S/4HANA CFIN, ongoing maintenance of the solution, and ongoing value delivery post deployment. This includes executing key activities during month-end close, validation and reconciliation of global costing data and inventory, designing relevant reports and analysis in order to lead product profitability reporting across Perrigo.  The role will assist with building our product profitability reporting in CFIN using the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and partnering with the SAP Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team and IT to ensure the ongoing business reporting requirements are met.

Scope of the Role

  • Assist with the maintenance of the global costing solution and mapping tables in S/4HANA CFIN
  • Coordinate and execute the various global costing month-end close steps, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly results
  • Reconcile monthly global costing results, including in-depth analysis of tie-out discrepancies
  • Partner with the accounting team(s) to ensure accurate elimination of intercompany sales and COGS
  • Collaborate with the business to continuously improve the quality of the data and drive consistency in reporting
  • Build and maintain key product profitability reports and drive standardized reporting in CFIN and EDW
  • Support new acquisitions and execute the integration into the global costing process

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in a large corporate environment with a proven track record in overcoming business challenges
  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of financial auditing and accounting and the related control environment of a publicly traded company, including U.S. GAAP
  • Must have experience using SAP with an understanding of inventory and cost data
  • Must have strong computer proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must have a basic understanding of SOX control requirements
  • Must be detailed-oriented and complete work with a high level of accuracy
  • Must be a self-starter who can use initiative and works independently to meet reporting and project deadlines
  • Experience/interest in task and process automation and scripting is a big plus
