Description Overview

This is a newly created team within Perrigo Business Services(PBS). The Senior Master Data Coordinator is an experienced operational role responsible for the execution and quality assurance of complex Vendor and Customer Master Data activities within PBS. You will be a subject‑matter reference and first‑level escalation point within operations, supporting the Service Delivery Lead and Team Leads while ensuring governance, data quality, and service stability.

You will play a key role when activities are transitioned from functions or local teams into PBS, supporting knowledge transfer and operational readiness. This role combines hands‑on execution, judgment‑based decision‑making, and coaching, without formal people‑management accountability.

Scope of the Role

Advanced Master Data Operations

  • Execute complex and non‑standard Vendor and Customer Master Data activities (create, change, extend, block/unblock, reactivation).
  • Handle sensitive and business‑critical data elements (e.g. bank details, tax data, credit‑relevant fields).
  • Assess data completeness, dependencies, and downstream business impact before execution.


Issue Resolution & Operational Expertise

  • Act as first‑level escalation point for complex or unclear cases.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring data or process issues
  • Support Service Delivery Lead and Team Leads with operational insight and recommendations.


Governance, Controls & Quality

  • Ensure consistent application of SOPs, validation rules, and governance standards.
  • Act as quality checkpoint for work performed by Master Data Coordinators.
  • Support audit evidence preparation and compliance activities.


Scope Transitions & Change Support

  • Support transition of Master Data activities from functions or local teams into PBS.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation updates, and readiness activities.
  • Support implementation of new tools, templates, and ways of working.


Knowledge Sharing

  • Coach and support the team of Master Data Coordinators.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, IT, or Supply Chain.
  • Strong language proficiency: Fluent in English and one of the following languages: Spanish, French, or Italian
  • 3–5 years of experience in Vendor and/or Customer Master Data operations (SAP or MDG environment)
  • Proven experience handling complex or sensitive Master Data activities.
  • Experience working in Shared Services, Global Business Services, or centralized operating models
  • Knowledge of supplier onboarding, banking data, tax compliance, and procurement processes or understanding of customer-related business rules (sales, credit, tax, commercial data)
  • Strong operational judgment and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in structured environments.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a strong focus on data quality and controls.
  • Effective communication skills and confidence interacting with stakeholders.
