Description Overview
Our Warsaw Business Services Centre, now well‑established and continuously expanding after 1,5 years on the market, is entering an exciting phase of strengthening and maturing its Finance capabilities. We are looking for a Senior GL Accountant to join us and support mainly Polish market, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment and wants to make a meaningful impact by helping shape processes, support continuous improvement, and contribute to the evolution of a high-performing GL team.

Scope of the Role
- Execute General Ledger accounting activities for assigned entities, with a primary focus on supporting the Polish market
- Apply the accounting manual guidelines to ensure accurate cost center and profit center accounting and appropriate GL account usage
- Perform daily operational GL tasks, including:
- Journal entry preparation and posting
- Balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations and follow‑up
- Support the month‑end close process by preparing and posting US GAAP entries and contributing to financial close reporting in CFINContribute to the timely and accurate month‑end close for the entities supported
- Assist with statutory processes and filings related to Poland to the extent they are part of centralized processes
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Tax, and local market teams to ensure data accuracy and issue resolution
Experience Required
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
- Local Accounting knowledge used in practice for Polish entities, including end to end responsibility for local statutory and tax accounting
- Additional Accounting Certification would be a plus
- Solid knowledge of Finance in general and General Ledger in particular
- At least 5 years experience in similar role within Business Shared Service Centre structures
- SAP Finance experience
- Fluent in English and Polish
